About
I build the logic behind the screen: REST APIs, databases, authentication and payments, and the integration that connects them to mobile apps.
I can't leave a "why" unanswered, so I like to understand how a system works underneath before I build on top of it. I studied Mathematics at King Saud University, then trained as a software engineer at Tuwaiq Academy × Holberton School.
What I work with
- core
- Python, Flask, SQL, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, JWT
- also
- C, Dart (Flutter), JavaScript, Docker, Firebase, Git, Linux
- currently learning
- Java and Spring Boot
Where I'm heading
I want to build the systems that companies need before they can trust software with their business: secure, compliant and reliable backends.
Topics I'm exploring and building toward:
- identity & access
- SSO, enforced MFA, role-based access (RBAC), automatic provisioning (SCIM)
- audit & compliance
- Audit logs, encryption and key ownership, Saudi PDPL, NCA controls, data residency
- reliability
- SLAs, scalability, backups and disaster recovery
- integration
- Connecting new services to existing systems through APIs, in the cloud or on-premise
I write about what I learn, and I build projects around real problems. Long term, I'd like to grow into security-focused backend work, integration architecture, and technical leadership.
